The photoshoot I had with my photographer friend has finally come to fruition. It's been a while since I've had a post, let alone a decent outfit post, and I couldn't be happier with the results. We took pictures at this garden somewhere in wake forest where they had historical barns and fields. It was beautiful. 

On to my outfit, I decided to pair my favorite cropped striped top from forever 21 with a jersey knit midi skirt. I think I've found my new love in midi skirts. Every time I wear a short dress or short skirt, I'm always crossing my legs, pulling my skirt down, just uncomfortable. But with midi skirts you don't have to sacrifice comfort for style. Plenty of coverage but the body con look still gives you some shape. I just ordered two more pairs of midi skirts off GoJane.com and I'm so excited for them to arrive. One is a slick patent material I got to go with the matching crop top, and I also got an acid wash denim one that reminded me of Saved By the Bell, one of my favorite shows.

It's finals week here at State, and I only have two exams, just took one today and one to go next Monday, so after that it's time to move out and begin the summer. In addition to taking a summer class, and working at Nordstrom I plan on devoting A LOT more time to my blog, so stay tuned!!
