You've seen them in the nineties, you've seen them on farmers and now overalls are back and they're big! Fashionistas everywhere are sporting this runway trend and even rocking it they're own way from leatther to distressed and from shorts to jumpers.
The following is how a couple of bloggers have been wearing overalls.

My favorite variation comes from one of my favorite designers, Philip Lim in leather form. I just think that this version takes it to a whole-nutha level. Wearing these you won't be associated with farmers at all and you will instantly look luxe.

As you can see overalls have the potential to look chic and edgy but not on everyone in my opinion. This style best suites beanpole or boyish shapes since the overalls won't overwhelm their figures like on hour glass or apple shapes. But if you can rock it and look good, go ahead by all means, Work it!
In addition to the blogger inspiration I've created a few sets
H&M-Shirt, 2020Avenue-Shortalls, Net-A-Porter earings, YSL-Heels
Be adventurous but not outrageous in leather overalls and a striped top. Keep the look classy with black heels and red lipstick.
VILA-Tee,Balmain-Jacket, Boohoo.com-Dungarees, NastyGal-Wedges
Look playful but not childish in these denim shortalls. Keep it feminine and mature with a demure lace shirt and yellow leather jacket(good for spring too), and amp up the cute factor in wedge sneakers and a colorful necklace.
Forever New-Raglan top, Wallis-Blazer, Toms,
Wanna try the trend, but don't want to go all out? Keep it casual in a baseball tee and flats, but to prevent looking like you were grown up on the farm, add classy accessories and a blazer. I swear, blazers instantly add that polish to any outfit!
What do you guys think of the overall trend? Hit or Miss? Left on the farm, tacky, fabulous? Would you rock them and how? I'd love to read your feedback and once again, thanks for reading and have a great day, and make sure you can follow me on my other sites to stay connected, till next time!
So hard to pull off and you need the right body type..but great outfit ideas!!

I never was a huge fan of overalls. But seeing the photos you picked, it can totally be hot! Great trend.
